The dust has settled on ESL One Bangkok, and we, BOOM Esports, have concluded our journey in the group stage. We shared this news with our fans, stating. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, we want to share our perspective on the experience.
This tournament represented a significant challenge and opportunity for us. We came to Bangkok ready to compete against some of the best Dota 2 teams in the world. Although we aimed for a deeper run, our performance in the group stage didn’t secure us a spot in the playoffs.
As a prominent team in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Dota 2 scene, we understand the importance of our performance on the international stage. While this result is disappointing, it doesn’t diminish our commitment to representing SEA Dota 2 with pride. We believe that facing top-tier competition is crucial for the growth of the entire region.
We know the SEA Dota 2 scene is incredibly competitive, and this tournament only reinforces that. We’re motivated to continue pushing ourselves and contributing to the growth of the SEA Dota 2 community.
We’re not discouraged by this setback. We’ll be using this experience as fuel to improve and prepare for future tournaments. We’re committed to honing our skills, refining our strategies, and coming back stronger than ever. Our journey continues, and we appreciate the unwavering support of our fans.
