It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce the departure of Jordan “SLATEM$” Vega from our BOOM Esports Dota 2 roster. SLATEM$ first joined us in November 2023, and after a brief hiatus, returned in January 2024 to become a driving force in our midlane.

We were immediately drawn to SLATEM$’s aggressive playstyle and his ability to make calculated risks that often turned the tide of matches in our favor. He embodied the spirit of our team, always pushing the boundaries and striving for victory.

During his time with us, SLATEM$ was instrumental in our achievements, most recently he helped us secure a top 6 finish at PGL Wallachia Season 1 and a commendable 4th place at Games of the Future 2024.

SLATEM$’s departure marks the end of a chapter for BOOM Esports, but we are immensely grateful for his contributions and the energy he brought to our team. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors and have no doubt that he will continue to excel in the competitive Dota 2 scene.
