Every great hunt requires a master tactician, and we are bringing back one of our own to steer the ship. John Lloyd “Impressive” Dela Cruz is officially back under the BOOM Esports banner, transitioning into the Coach role for our Honor of Kings division.
Long-time fans will fondly remember Impressive’s stellar history with us, having previously represented the Hungry Beast badge as a player during major milestones like our 1st-place finish at the Philippines Kings League Spring 2025. Having someone who deeply understands the culture, the pressure, and the winning mentality of BOOM Esports step behind the tactical board gives us an unmatched edge heading into the PKL Fall 2026 split. His battlefield experience as a former roamer and jungler will be invaluable in shaping our macro-play and drafting strategy.
Securing the Top Lane: Welcome Chammy1
To solidify our frontline, we have officially signed Chammy Paul Asignado “Chammy1” Nazarrea to command our Top Lane.
Chammy1 is no stranger to the highest tier of competitive Honor of Kings. Previously making waves with Blacklist International—where he notably earned the Regular Season MVP title during the PKL Spring 2026 split—Chammy1 brings mechanical brilliance, map awareness, and fierce competitive drive straight to our roster. Integrating a player of his caliber into our system means our top lane is locked down and ready to absorb pressure or carry games wide open.
