The wait is over. Following our heartfelt farewell to Rhapsody, the Hungry Beasts are ready to officially announce the man who will take over the helm.

Gilbert “Ambone” Sebastiaan is no stranger to the inner workings of our tactical machine. Since joining BOOM Esports in February 2025 as an Analyst, he has been the silent architect behind many of our recent strategies. Today, we are proud to announce his promotion to Head Coach for our PUBG Mobile division.

Ambone’s rise through the Indonesian competitive scene has been defined by his deep understanding of the game’s nuances. His journey began in 2022, and he has since lent his analytical brilliance to some of the biggest names in the industry. His “malang melintang” (vast experience) across these various top-tier organizations gave him a unique perspective on the regional meta. When he joined the Hungry Beast family, he immediately added a new layer of strength to our roster, helping us maintain our status as the team to beat in Southeast Asia.

Promoting from within was a natural choice for us. As an analyst, Ambone’s role was to dissect our opponents’ every move, identifying their weaknesses while refining our own strengths. He has earned the total respect of the players through his precision and his ability to provide actionable feedback in the heat of battle.

By stepping into the Head Coach role, Ambone is ready to transform those insights into a new era of leadership. We believe his combination of seasoned experience and fresh tactical vision is exactly what we need to stay at the top of the podium.
