The new roster of BOOM Esports CS:GO successfully made their debut in South America qualifier for Americas Minor-ESL One Rio 2020. They became one of the two team who qualified to Americas Minor.
BOOM start the qualifier with the loss against Team One. Going to lower bracket, they defeat W7M Gaming, Imperial, and Team One before meeting Isurus in decider match. BOOM Esports show their dominant performance against Isurus and going to Americas Minor with 2-0 score (16-4 and 19-17).
Americas Minor will be held on 26 April to 2 May in Rio de Jainero, Brazil. The tournament will meet 8 teams (6 teams from North America qualifier and 2 teams from South America qualifier). With the US$50.000 prize pool, only 2 best teams qualified to ESL One Rio 2020 and 3rd place will move to play-in qualifier against 3rd place team from Asia, Europe, and CIS qualifier.
