BOOM Esports CS:GO recently just won another title, FlowFire League Global Finals which was held in La Plata, Argentina. Participated by 3 teams, BOOM participated in this tournament after winning at CBCS 2020: The Revenge. Fernando “Fer” Alvarenga became a standin with BOOM in this tournament by replacing Joao “Felps” Vasconcellos.
BOOM’s journey was very smooth throughout the tournament. Facing Furious Gaming in the first match, BOOM successfully defeated the opponent with a score of 2-0 (16-3 and 16-5). Facing Isurus in the grand final, BOOM got the first map to take Mirage with a score of 16-5. In the second map in Inferno, BOOM was left behind but managed to force overtime until finally secured the championship title with a score of 19-16.
