With the addition of Saibani “Fl1pzjder” Rahmad as the new player of VALORANT team that replaced Adrian “Adrnking” Setiawan that introduced this week, BOOM Esports also introduced Dong “meow” Jun-ji as the VALORANT coach.
Meow is known for his experience in the CS:GO scene as Team Aster, esports organizations from China as a coach. Switching his career in VALORANT, he already has experience as a coach in TUBEPLE Gaming, VALORANT team from South Korea. He helped the team secure the top 8 in VCT 2021: Korea Stage 2 Challengers.
“What we lacked on the previous roster was a type of player that can go into a site and do some damage, so with Bani that is known as his Jett play can become the solution for us. Our main focus would be finding the best style for us, so I would gather up what each player wanted and I would try to find the best solutions for this. Of course our target is going to Berlin and the champions. All the players are striving for LAN experience which we didnt have for quite some time now.”

The nearest tournament that BOOM Esports will attend is VALO2ASIA Launch Invitational 2021 that was held on 27 June. Beside BOOM Esports there are 3 other SEA teams that also competed for US$3000 prize pool.
