BOOM Esports DOTA 2 became one of the team that invited to Moon Studio Asian League. Eight invited teams with 2 teams qualified from China and Southeast Asia will compete for US$45,000 prize pool. The tournament will start from 29 July to 9 August 2020. BOOM will joined to group A and compete against 5 teams.
The group stage will using single round robin format and all of the matches are best of two. Only two top teams from each group advance to upper bracket playoff, 3rd and 4th teams from each group advance to lower bracket playoff. As bottom two teams from each group are eliminated. For playoff stage is using double elimination bracket. All of the matches are best of three except grand final that use best of five.
