Due to COVID-19 pandemic, ESL Pro League Season 12 format has been changed to regional online. BOOM Esports will join the South American region in ESL Pro League S12: South America and compete against 3 teams that held on 22-29 September 2020. The tournament will have a prize pool US$25,000.

ESL Pro League Season 12: South America is joined by Sharks Esports, Isurus Gaming, and Havan Liberty Gaming. Using the playoff format, the tournament will use a double elimination bracket. All of the matches are using best of three formats except the grand final that used best of five.
