  4. Meet the BOOM Esports VALORANT 2026 Roster: The Hunger Returns
By Audrey Arlychika
January 30, 2026

At BOOM Esports, our mission has always been to lead from the front. Since we first entered the VALORANT scene in 2020, we’ve carried the pride of Indonesia on our shoulders, clinching titles and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the Asia-Pacific region.

As we gear up for the VALORANT Challengers 2026 Southeast Asia: Split 1 – Indonesia, we are thrilled to officially introduce the squad that will carry our banner. The roster is complete, the hunger is back, and we are ready to dominate.

Our 2026 lineup is a strategic blend of veteran experience and explosive mechanical skill. These are the faces of the HungryBeast:

1. Shiro (Hildegard Arnaldo Herikusuma)

A cornerstone of our squad since 2022, Shiro brings unparalleled consistency. His ability to anchor sites and find impact in high-pressure situations makes him one of the most reliable players in the APAC region.

2. NcSlasher (Sheldon Andersen Chandra)

The return of a legend. NcSlasher is a name synonymous with Indonesian VALORANT excellence. Having rejoined us in late 2023, his tactical depth and versatility are key to our adaptability mid-round.

3. naTz (Jonathan Adiputra)

The newest permanent addition to the pack, naTz joined us in late 2025. He has quickly integrated into our system, providing the fresh firepower and aggressive playstyle needed to break through the region’s toughest defenses.

4. D3FFO (Timofey Cherakov)

Our international X-factor. Bringing World Champion pedigree to the squad, d3ffo’s experience on the biggest stages in the world provides our team with a level of composure and strategic insight that is rare in the tier-2 scene.

5. Nakya (Fikri Zaki Hamdani)

Rounding out our roster is Nakya, a player known for his high ceiling and clutch potential. Together with this squad, he is ready to prove why BOOM remains the team to beat in Indonesia.

Success isn’t just about what happens on the screen; it’s about the preparation behind it. For the 2026 season, our tactical department is led by:

  • Assistant Coach: Fields (Sam Greenfield) – Bringing a global perspective to our Indonesian roots.
  • Manager: Mycroft – Chornelius Vanny

We are coming off a strong performance in the APAC Predator League 2026, where we secured a 2nd place finish. While we were proud of that run, we aren’t satisfied with second.

Our history is decorated with 1st-place finishes in VALORANT Challengers Indonesia (2023, 2024) and the Predator League Indonesia (2024, 2025). For the 2026 season, our eyes are fixed on one goal: VCT Ascension Pacific. We want our spot back in the top flight of the VCT Pacific League, and this roster is built to take us there.

The road ahead is long, and as we say, “Nothing is guaranteed.” But with your support—the best fans in the world—we will keep growing and fighting to achieve our dreams. Stay Hungry, Hungry Beast!
