With this massive victory, we haven’t just conquered the Philippines King’s League; we have officially qualified for the KWC (Kings World Championship) 2026.

Here is a look back at our journey, told from our perspective, on how the Hungry Beast tore through the competition to lift the trophy.

A Roaring Start: Dominating the Regular Season

Our PKL Spring 2026 campaign began with an absolute statement. In Week 1, we swept both NMSS PH and FL PH with flawless 3-0 victories. The momentum carried over into Weeks 2 and 3, where we took down TNT (3-2), JGE (3-1), and RWH (3-1). We were untouchable, playing our signature aggressive Honor of Kings style that you’ve come to expect from BOOM Esports.

However, Week 4 brought a much-needed wake-up call. We faced a tough 0-3 loss against BLCK. But true champions are forged in the fires of defeat. We immediately bounced back the next day with a 3-0 sweep against FNS, and closed out the regular season in Week 5 by dismantling ARCH (3-0) and TRND (3-1).

The Playoff Stumble: A Test of the Hungry Beast

Heading into the playoffs, confidence was high. But on March 27, disaster struck. We faced FL PH—a team we had swept in Week 1—and suffered a crushing 1-4 defeat.

For many teams, dropping to the lower bracket is a death sentence. For BOOM, it was an opportunity to show our fangs. We knew we had to fight harder, draft smarter, and play with absolute synergy. Our roster—featuring the incredible talents of KARLLL, DANII, DR4W, MIGGIE, ZAOPI, CRYAN, and XS—refused to back down.

The Miracle Run: One Day, Two Sweeping Victories

March 28, 2026, will go down in BOOM Esports history. With our tournament lives on the line, we had to play two back-to-back best-of-seven series.

First up was TNT. We unleashed our fury, taking them down decisively with a 4-1 victory. But we weren’t done. Later that same evening, we faced BLCK—the very team that handed us our first sweep in the regular season. The Hungry Beast wanted revenge, and revenge is exactly what we got. We dismantled BLCK 4-1, proving that we learn from our mistakes and adapt when it matters most.

The Grand Finals: Sweet Revenge and Championship Glory

The stage was set on March 29 for the ultimate showdown. We clawed our way out of the lower bracket to face the final boss: FL PH. The team that sent us to the lower bracket just two days prior was standing between us and the championship.

The series was an absolute thriller. Every team fight, every objective, and every rotation was executed with championship-level precision. We pushed ourselves to the limit, and in the end, BOOM reigned supreme. We closed out the series 4-2, lifting the PKL Spring 2026 trophy against the backdrop of an unforgettable season.
